Great DVD Player-I got the same but in Blue..!
I bought this player for the large travels by plane. I used this player recently in the fly from Seattle,Wa to San Francisco,CA (1.5 hrs), ; I saw one movie with the full battery charge and later for the fly from San Francisco to Mexico City (4.5 hrs) with the rest of charge, I saw 2 movies with the same battery charge, the battery works very well. The only complaint is that the sound is very low, you must listen the player with headphones, I recommend you use the Sony MDR-V150, then the sound will be great. Maybe some buyers have problems with the battery, normally the rechargeable batts have a life time, if you batt does not hold the charge you will must get other battery.This player was delivered by Sony since 2006-2007, if the player was delivered by sony early then the battery life time will be short, the battery life time decrease if you does not charge it; when the player is not being used, you must charge the battery anyway, this way the battery will hold the charge for longtime when you really use the player.

Faulty battery
I bought this portable DVD player last year and while it was still under warranty, the recharable battery began to fail. The “charge” light never stopped blinking, and I could never fully charge it. I called customer services (I could tell it was somewhere in India) and the man told me they would send me a new battery. It never happened, I never got anything. Now the only way I can watch this is plugged in…which sort of defeats the entire purpose of it being “portable”.

Another thing that randomly happens is that the buttons freeze up occasionally and I can’t skip to another scene or go back. It doesn’t happen all the time, usually only if I’ve paused the movie for a couple of minutes.

I have completely sworn off Sony products since I had this disappointing product/customer service experience and I can’t say I regret it at all!

Pink SOny DVD Player
I own this little wonder. I don’t currently have a TV so this is my only form of entertainment right now. ( my ex had took the TV we had )
I compare this to the Polaroid Pink DVD player and the picture and sound quality are much better.
I have no complaints. Its cute, small, portable, and plays my dvd’s!
Too bad it didn’t come with Headphones and a Case though

Amazing Deal
I recommend getting this product over some of the other portable DVD players. This one looks nicer and lasts a lot longer with the 5 hour battery.

Great Value
Great portable DVD for the price. Perfect for traveling with kids. I was a little worried about the picture quality based on some of the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price this is a very good deal. I love the swivel lcd screen! Again if you are buying this to entertain kids when traveling or to simply use around the house like we do then you wont be disappointed.
