Not Much of a Reviewer
Please forgive by first saying that I rarely know enough to provide a quality review. Needless-to-say, this tv was shipped super-fast and intact. Worked like a charm right out of the box. Slightly disappointed in the sound quality, however, that can be overlooked. Pictures look sharp w/ accurate colors. Standard Def. is typical of what you would expect from an HDTV. Biggest plus…anti-reflective screen!
So far, quite satisfied w/ both Samsung and Amazon….Cheers!
Awesome Set
I bought this set from Fry’s and could not be any happier with it. I went through some of the other reviews between this one and the 71 model and went with this one with the matte finish. The clearest picture I have ever seen. I did a ton of research for this TV and it paid off.
Fry’s delivery was free and it came 2 days after I ordered it. Only issue was 2 weeks after I bought it the price went down 0 on their own website and they do not honor price match even on their own website, so I would buy another, but if I would get another, I would buy from Amazon because they have a 30 day price match.
You can not go wrong with this set!!
A defected product, but a terrific Amazon service
It may be a rare case. The Samsung LNT4669 I received is a defected one at the first time. The left half panel is slightly darker than the right half. It looks like the whole screen is composed of two separate equal sized panels. First, I suspect Verizon FiOS TV. But DVD shows the same flaw. I called Samsung. They asked me to shutoff power and reconnect it. The same flaw came back in one hour after I did it. Samsung says they can repair it without charge, but refuse to replace it even they realize it is brand new (they verify the series number and firmware version). I called Amazon and describe the situation. Amazon exchanged it in a few days. Therefore, I give the product 3 stars, Amazon 5 stars.
As good as advertised. Wow
The Samsung LNT 4669 is as good as advertised. The picture is beyond my expectation. I own a Sony Bravia 32′LCD television. I was happy with the picture of the Sony but not the size. I am much happier with the picture on the Samsung.Using component cables gives me a better picture than the DVI-HDMI cable.The delivery was fantastic. Ordered on a Sunday night and was watching the LCD by 10am Saturday morning.The price with free delivery and the free Samsung DVD player is unbeatable. WOW is the best way to describe the whole experience.There is some TBE while watching golf or baseball but not very often. There is a way to reduce TBE but it really is not bad enough to bother with. The picture is great using the pre-sets. Thanks Amazon.
Sweet HiDef TV, Best Bang for the Buck award goes to…
The Samsung LNT4669 46-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV. The quality of the picture is amazing. Matte screen is great for daytime viewing and night viewing with lights on in the room. The dark detail and contrast really make this tv a standout at this price point. Once I setup the tv using calibration settings from the AVS forums it blew me away even more. The color accuracy and detail are amazing. The setup menu is really easy to use. The auto motion plus (120hz) takes a little getting used to at first. I watch the tv with auto motion set on Low and I love it now. Movement in blu-rays looks like live action. I use a ps3 for watching blu-rays over HDMI. Even over component cables it looks as good as hdmi when calibrated properly. The tv speakers sound good also and have many setup options. This tv exceeded my expectations. You can’t go wrong.
